Cancellation & Refund Policy

At TrueLink World, we are committed to providing well-organized, high-quality experiences for our community.
Because our events depend on confirmed venues, catering, and limited group sizes, we ask for your understanding regarding the following cancellation and refund terms.

 

1. Definitions

  • “Event” or “Experience” refers to any paid activity organized by TrueLink World, including dinners, celebrations, excursions, or workshops.

  • “Membership” refers to the digital subscription that grants access to TrueLink Connect and its member-only benefits.

  • “Participant” refers to any individual who has booked or attended an event or holds an active membership.

By booking through www.truelink.world or via TrueLink Connect (hosted on Mighty Networks), you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
All payments are processed securely through authorized providers such as PayPal or Stripe. TrueLink World does not store or access payment card data directly.
All prices include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.
This policy complies with Spanish consumer protection law and the general principles of the European Union.

 

 

2. Cancellations by Participants

2.1 Event Bookings

Cancellations received more than 5 calendar days before the event date are eligible for a full credit toward a future TrueLink World event of equal value, depending on venue and supplier agreements.

Credits are issued in digital form and linked to the participant’s TrueLink World account. They are valid for up to 12 months from the original event date and can only be used while the participant holds an active TrueLink World membership.
If the membership expires, any unused credit will automatically lapse at the end of the active period.

Cancellations made within 5 days of the event, or in the case of non-attendance (no-show), are non-refundable, as venue and catering costs are already confirmed.

This policy does not limit your legal consumer rights. However, please note that under EU law, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure or event services scheduled for a specific date.

 

2.2 Illness or Emergencies

If you are unable to attend due to illness or a verified emergency, you may request a credit for a future event by providing proof (for example, a medical certificate) within 48 hours after the scheduled event.

 

2.3 Ticket Transfer

Event bookings are personal and non-transferable.
Attendance may only be transferred to another person if that individual is an active TrueLink World member and the transfer is approved in writing at least 24 hours before the event.
Non-members cannot be substituted or added as replacement participants.

 

 

3. Memberships

Memberships are managed and processed through Mighty Networks, using Stripe or PayPal as secure third-party payment providers.
All payment, billing, and renewal processes follow the terms and refund policies of these providers.

Membership fees are non-refundable once activated, as members immediately gain access to exclusive digital and offline benefits within the TrueLink World community.

New members can either:

  • start with a free 7-day trial to explore the community and features before deciding on a paid plan, or

  • choose a paid membership plan (3, 6 or 12 months) that also includes a 7-day free trial period before the first payment is charged.

If a membership with a trial is not cancelled before the end of the 7-day period, it will automatically convert into the selected paid plan using the original payment method.
Members may also switch to another available plan at any time through their account settings.

Each paid membership period is automatically renewed under the same plan type unless cancelled by the member in accordance with the provider’s terms.
Members may cancel their renewal at any time through their TrueLink Connect account settings or by contacting info@truelink.world.

After cancellation, access to all member benefits remains active until the end of the current paid period.
No partial refunds are issued for unused time within an active subscription period.

Important Note:
TrueLink World is responsible solely for the services and experiences it directly provides: such as events, memberships, and community activities.
We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of the Mighty Networks platform or any third-party services integrated therein.
Technical issues, outages, or payment-processing errors fall under the responsibility of Mighty Networks and its associated payment providers (Stripe or PayPal).

Payments for memberships and subscriptions are securely processed by these third-party providers.
TrueLink World does not control or assume responsibility for the technical processing of payments, renewals, or refunds managed by them.
For payment-related questions or disputes, please refer to the applicable refund policies of: Mighty Networks, Stripe and PayPal.

 

 

4. Cancellations by TrueLink World

TrueLink World reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances such as:

  • Insufficient registrations

  • Venue unavailability

  • Illness of hosts or facilitators

  • Force majeure (e.g., extreme weather, strikes, or public health restrictions)

In such cases, participants will receive a credit for another event of equal value.
TrueLink World will notify participants by email as soon as possible and will act in good faith to offer fair alternatives whenever possible.
No additional compensation will be provided for travel or accommodation costs unless required by law.

 

5. Changes to Events

Minor adjustments to an event’s program, venue, schedule, or host do not constitute a cancellation.
TrueLink World reserves the right to make reasonable modifications to maintain the quality and continuity of the experience.

 

6. No-Show Policy

Failure to attend an event without prior notice is considered a no-show and is non-refundable, regardless of reason, unless valid proof of medical or emergency circumstances is provided within 48 hours after the event.

 

 

7. Force Majeure

TrueLink World shall not be held liable or required to provide refunds when an event is cancelled, delayed, or modified due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, acts of terrorism, or government restrictions.
In such cases, TrueLink World will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer credit toward a future experience before cancellation is considered.

 

 

8. Refund Procedure

To request a refund or credit, please contact info@truelink.world and include:

  • Your full name

  • Event name and date

  • Proof of payment

  • Reason for cancellation

All refund or credit requests must be made in writing.
Requests made through social media or other channels cannot be guaranteed to be processed.

Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe after receiving your complete request.
Processing times may vary depending on payment provider and administrative factors.

 

 

9. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable:

  • Activated memberships

  • Digital or downloadable materials once accessed or delivered

  • Gift cards, vouchers, or promotional credits

  • Events or experiences clearly marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase

  • Bookings governed by third-party partner terms that exclude refunds

In cases of duplicate payments or technical errors, full refunds will be issued after verification.

 

 

10. Applicable Law

This policy is governed by Spanish law.
Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Alicante, Spain, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection legislation.

 

 

11. Policy Updates

TrueLink World reserves the right to update or amend this policy at any time.
The latest version is always available at www.truelink.world.
Any substantial changes will be communicated to active members via email or through the TrueLink Connect platform.
